Welcome to my blog! I have started this in hopes to share my creativity and thoughts with you. I would love to be able to meet, via the internet, others who share my love for tatting, handmade books, ACEO's, angels, altered books, painting and other areas of arts and crafts. I also love music and teach voice and piano as my profession. Presently, I teach 13 wonderful students ranging from ages 7 to 70! Yes, I said, "70"! I have a lady taking piano lessons--she says this is on her "bucket list" to learn. I think that's great!
I have a great part-time job. I work for Elmcroft Assisted Living as an Activities Director. I plan at least 5 activities each day for my residents. I try to have a great variety so it is a real challenge to come up with different ones each month. I play the piano and sing, so I fill in with my music when my volunteers call and can't come at the last minute. Just about everyone loves music, right? I am always on the lookout for old music written in the 1930's and 1940's. Those are the great songs; "I Left My Heart in San Francisco", "What A Difference A Day Makes", to name two.
