Victorian Tatted Puncushion

Well, here is another of my creations to show my tatting. I thought this would be practical since all sewers and quilters need something to stick their pins into. And of course, I made it with tatted trim. I just can't stay with one thing lately. I have so many new ideas I think about that I just have to try them. But my inspiration does not come on it's own. I look at all your blogs and get inspired so much that I just have to come up with something old yet new.

I have to give credit to one of my favorite bloggers for this idea. Thank you so much!

I'm a firm believer that one can never have too many pin cushions, and this one is lovely!

Thanks for dropping by Linda and leaving your lovely comment. I much prefer pinkeep to cushion. Your little pink pinkeep with it's pretty tatting is so sweet. You've done well.

Hope you don't mind me saying so, but just in case you aren't aware, the comment just above me (Heriberto) is a spam comment which links to adult content sites. I discovered one day, after I got a similar one, that every one of those dots after their name is a link to an adult site!

Thank you, Pam, for your suggestions. Yes, "pinkeep" is such a nice little "new" name.

And I have removed that comment you suggested and, now I know. I really appreciate that!

Gorgeous, Linda. You inspire meto start tatting. While cleaning this morning I cam across my tatting supply. I wish you lived nearby so I could learn from you.

There is a great little tatting kit you can get at Hobby Lobby and probably at Michael's that has a DVD with all the supplies to start tatting. My friend learned in one day how to tat from it! it's put out by Handy Hands--if you can't find it at those stores, you can always order it from Handy Hands on line. Wish I could teach you, too, and meet you in person!
